The ladies there were more than helpful to this newbie as I brought in my second ever quilt top to be finished a their shop. I was overwhelmed at the idea that I had finished my piecing, and wasn't sure what to do next. Everything from selecting a wide back from their extensive selection, to choosing the appropriate batting, to selecting a thread color. I can hardly wait to see the finished project!
I took my friend to pick up the three quilt she had stitched together. They did a awesome job. They have several patterns to choose from and it doesn't cost a lot.
Love this quilt shop! Their turnaround time is super fast; they have saved me in a pinch trying to get a gift finished more than once!! I had them quilt a quilt for me in May when I lived only a few minutes from the shop, and loved the result so much I've since had them do two more even though I now live an hour away. I didn't even bother looking for a closer shop because I've been so pleased with their service and work quality!

The staff is friendly and very helpful. The fabric is beautiful. So many extra wide quilt backing to choose from... and i mean over 100! ♡♡♡

I have used many quilters over the years but recently found Rockin Bobbins. By far my favorite! I'm taking my 4th quilt to them tomorrow. The technique they use puts a lot less stress on your quilt. Wouldn't think of ever going any where else now. Quilting has been excellent. They take time to lay out the quilt when you come in and take the time to help pick out the best quilting design for your particular quilt. And they have more designs then others ( somewhere around 100).Very patient, friendly and helpful. Turn out time is quicker than most and completed when promised. Cost is fair and better than many I previously used.. If you need batting, backing or binding its available and they are helpful in picking it out. The fabric selection and quality is excellant and many nice quilt kits available. This is my new favorite quilt shop and I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. Its worth the 45 minute drive from Fenton. All they need now is a block of the month club!
My experience was wonderful! Loved the quilting and everything was explained before I left. I found the pricing to be in line with other quilters in the area and both were finished when promised. I loved the fact that they called and told me wool batting had come in and explained the price difference to me. In response to the review above, most places do charge extra for batting if you do not bring your own and also your thread use. If you paid $ 250 for three quilts plus your batting that averages to about $80.00 a quilt.....not bad for something you are not able to do yourself. The fact that they also square up your quilt and it is ready for binding when you pick it up is a huge plus in my book.
Will definitely be using them again!
Supporting a local, skilled business is something very important to me. Not just that, but I've found Rockin Bobbins to have a great selection of wide backs (a product almost entirely ignored at most shops). I have now had three quilts completed by these wonderful ladies. From batting to backing, stitch design to thread color, I've been pleased with every aspect. So much so that I've also referred my mother in law who has had them finish even more quilts! Thank you for your fair, competitive pricing and super service.
Thank you for helping me make my first quilt! You where both so patient and flexible with me in teaching me all the tricks to quilting! :) I highly recommend this shop to anyone learning how to quilt or to buy good quality fabric.
Rockin' Bobbins have quilted several of my quilt tops and done the binding too - they do an amazing job!! They told me how long it would take and how much it would be when I dropped off my quilt top and they were true to their word! They are very accommodating and willing to stay late or meet after hours to fit your schedule!! I would highly recommend Rockin' Bobbins!!
Rockin Bobbins Rocks! I took my very first quilting class with Marla and Susie. I learned so much and had fun and ended up with a beautiful quilt. They are very professional and up front and forward with their quilting prices and went over everything very well. No surpises! Only store i will ever have do my quilting.
